What's my story?

I could’ve used this page to tell you about sports I’m into, share the things I do in my spare time, or entertain you with my favorite copywriting anecdote. 


But none of these will help you understand what kind of specialist I am.
 

So, let’s focus on the things that might actually make a difference.

I’ve been a professional content creator for only two years

You might think that’s too soon to name someone a robust professional after only two years of experience. But it’s more than enough in terms of a startup, especially when you work for 5 straight months as the startup’s only content creator. Intense!

I have a tourism background

I learned so much about people and cultures while working in the travel industry. I still take advantage of all that knowledge in my everyday work. For example, my travel agent’s work trained me to create perfect selling emails to pursue my clients to buy. (At that time, I didn’t even know this was copywriting, haha.)

I love storytelling

I believe that copywriters foremost are storytellers. Mark Livin’s “Storytelling for Eyes, Ears and Heart” book inspired me to dig deeper into this matter. Since then, I have tended to put storytelling elements into every copy encouraging the readers’ imagination.

I’ve made this website by myself

“Challenge accepted!” – I said, and now you are at my first website (not the last one, hopefully), which I’m really proud of. This experience has greatly expanded my technical knowledge and skills, and motivated me to further explore HTML and CSS.

I’m a real straight shooter

If you ask for my opinion, I’ll tell you without trying to sugarcoat it. Likewise, if I think someone’s hurtling down a path of creative destruction, I’ll let them know, even if it looks like unsolicited advice.

I’m a perfectionist

As a huge fan of quality content, I love making it ideal whenever possible. I believe high quality is not an added value; it is an elementary necessity. Even when I see a content-unrelated issue in the task, I correct it or report it immediately. Because I care.

Oh, and in case you were wondering…

I love dancing and playing squash. I’m into reading, traveling, and watercolor painting. And here are some of my favorite jokes:
